Baloise CEO Michael Müller talks about the merger with Helvetia. What does this mean for employees, insured persons and locations?

The sale of the German business of the Swiss insurer Helvetia is probably no longer an issue after the announced merger with the competitor Baloise. Helvetia CEO Fabian Rupprecht emphasized at an analyst conference that it is about bringing the two business units together in Germany in order to create added value. However, the merger will lead to a job reduction in Germany and also in the home market of Switzerland.
