Bahama Breeze is closing all of its restaurants

Darden will close 14 Bahama Breeze restaurants and convert 14 others to different brands within 12-18 months after a 7.7% sales decline in 2024, the company said.

  • Darden Restaurants, owners of the Caribbean-inspired casual dining chain Bahama Breeze, will be closing all 28 Bahama Breeze restaurant locations.
  • Darden confirmed that 14 locations will permanently close by April 5, 2026, while the remaining 14 restaurants will be converted into other, higher-performing brands in its portfolio over the next 12 to 18 months.
