Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Committee decided to establish 29 communes, wards and 1 special district when organizing and reorganizing communes and wards. At the same time, it approved the proposal to merge this province with Binh Duong Province and Ho Chi Minh City to become a centrally subordinate city.
