Police are investigating an attempted robbery in Avenell Heights on June 2. Around 5.30am, a 55-year-old man has told police a white SUV pulled up near him on Mellor Street close to Craft Street. An unknown man got out of the white SUV and approached the 55-year-old man who was seated in his white Mazda dual cab utility and demanded cash.
