Asteroid 2024 YR4 is the size of a 15-story building and poses a threat to impact the Moon in 2032

Formerly a threat to Earth, asteroid 2024 YR4 became the Moon. Recently, NASA estimated the risk of this space rock hitting the natural satellite at 3.8% in 2032. If this happens, it will not be the first time in lunar history, nor should it have repercussions other than the formation of a crater, according to astronomer Plcida Arcoverde, from the National Observatory.
