The Delhi government has announced its masterplan for pollution control. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that a pilot project of artificial rain using cloud seeding technology will be started in collaboration with IIT Kanpur. 1000 water sprinklers, 140 anti-smog guns, 70 new mechanical road sweepers and electric liter peakers will be deployed throughout the year except during monsoon.
