Armada Media is buying back a group of radio stations in Marinette-Menominee that it sold a dozen years ago. The buyer and seller share a common shareholder, Chris Bernier, who is General Manager of the stations being sold and CEO of the buyer. Armada Media is reacquiring the Marinette WI/Menominee MI cluster that it sold to Radio Plus Bay Cities LLC in 2013. Armada’s AMC Partners Escanaba LLC will pay $1.5 million with $500,000 due at closing, $900,000 held in a promissory note, and $100,000 in debt owed to Armada cancelled.
