DirecTV Argentina presented its own line of 50-inch smart TVs as a new step in its goal of being a full entertainment ecosystem provider. Smart TV 4K UHD DLED with Google TV and access to multiple applications are manufactured in the country by Newsan. They can be purchased with funding in up to 12 installments. Initially they will be distributed through their own channels but will soon also be available in retail chains and other distributors.
The TV Paga DirectTV operator (Waiken ILW – Werthein Group) will launch this March 19 in the Argentine market a line of 50-inch smart TVs with 4K image. The time was chosen to take advantage of the proximity to the 2026 World Cup, which will start next June.
