Apple Launches Creator Studio Package as $13 a Month Subscription
Apple Creator Studio offers a $12.99 monthly subscription with AI-powered tools across six apps, including Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro for Mac and iPad.
- On Jan. 28, Apple Inc. will launch Apple Creator Studio on the App Store at $12.99 per month or $129 per year with a one-month free trial.
- Apple says the bundle aims to lower barriers by packaging studio tools in one subscription, targeting creators, students and educators worldwide after a strong services year with $109 billion revenue.
- The package includes major pro apps and Mac-only tools like Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro on Mac and iPad, plus Motion, Compressor and MainStage on Mac, with new AI features such as Transcript Search and Montage Maker.
- Apple Inc.'s shares moved little on Tuesday after the launch, as Wall Street gave supportive commentary and Wedbush analyst Dan Ives maintained a $350 price forecast, while Apple positions Creator Studio against Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Families can share Creator Studio subscriptions with six members via Apple Family Sharing, college students and educators qualify for $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year pricing, and some device purchases include three months access with Freeform coming later.
