'Slow Horses' Season 6 to Premiere on Apple TV Sept. 16
Apple TV announced the sixth season of Slow Horses will premiere on September 16, with new episodes dropping weekly. The series follows misfit agents at the Gary Oldman-governed Slough House.
Based on Mick Herron's 'Joe Country' and 'Slough House' novels, the show depicts a "dumping ground" division inside MI5. Gary Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the cantankerous leader of the outcast team.
Returning stars Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Taverner and Jack Lowden as River Cartwright anchor the ensemble. Newcomer BAFTA-winner Lenny Rush joins the cast, with Gaby Chiappe adapting and Adam Randall directing.
Taverner embroils the team in a "fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge," forcing the agents to go on the run. The show has earned multiple BAFTA and Emmy nominations since its 2022 debut.
Production is already underway for a seventh season adapting 'Bad Actors'. The current series runs through October 21, positioning Slow Horses as a cornerstone of Apple TV's British drama success.
