Where the government has requested a stay pending appeal of an injunction preliminarily preventing the U.S. Department of Education from reducing by half the staff of its Office of Civil Rights, that request should be granted in light of the Supreme Court’s decision in McMahon v. New York, 145 S. Ct. 2643 (2025).
