Anniston third graders hold steady as Literacy Act standards rise

ANNISTON — Despite tougher benchmarks under the Alabama Literacy Act, approximately 85 percent of third-grade students in Anniston City Schools met the ACAP reading cut score of 444 during the 2024–2025 school year, officials said.
