Andrew Tate faces UK civil trial in 2027 over abuse, coercive control allegations

Four women accusing the masculine influencer Andrew Tate of rape and sexual abuse in the UK are claiming damages.

They are prosecuting the male civil influencer for acts allegedly committed between 2012 and 2015.

Women accuse Tate of crimes of rape, coercive control and sexual assault between 2013 and 2015. He and his brother Tristan are also under investigation in Romania for rape, human trafficking and organized crime.

The trial had its first preliminary hearing at the High Court on Tuesday, ahead of a trial that will most likely begin in early 2027. Tate's lawyer Vanessa Marshall said he did not attend Tuesday's preliminary hearing and was not required to do so. She plans to give evidence in her defence at the trial.
