The unemployment recorded in the offices of the public employment services dropped by 13,239 people in May in Andalusia compared to the previous month (-2.1%) to the 605,864 unemployed, according to data published by the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy. With the fall of May, there are already four consecutive months of declines in unemployment in the community.


Cádiz was the province where unemployment fell the most, with 3,362 people, followed by Seville (3,318) and Málaga (2,949). Unemployment fell below 2.5 million in May, and employment reached a record high with 21.8 million registered workers.
