AdventHealth Lake Wales offering free health kits to heart care patients in effort to reduce re-admissions
Heart failure patients at AdventHealth Lake Wales are taking control of their health and recovery outside of the hospital, with the help of free health supply kits. This is part of a new program working to address one of the region's most urgent health care challenges: heart failure.
The County Emergency Clinical Hospital (SCJU) 'Sf. Ioan ce Nou' in Suceava will perform, this week, for the first time, an analysis that allows for the early diagnosis of asymptomatic heart failure (HF) in patients with diabetes, according to a press release sent on Monday by the medical unit. According to them, the analyses are free of charge, and the results are known on an emergency basis, within a maximum period of 15 minutes.
