- Veteran actor, director, and producer Dheeraj Kumar was admitted on Monday to the ICU at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, where he is receiving ventilator support due to acute pneumonia.
- His health suddenly worsened after several days of breathing difficulty, prompting his immediate hospitalization and critical care monitored closely by doctors.
- Kumar launched his career in the entertainment field in 1965, appeared in a total of 21 Punjabi movies between 1970 and 1984, and established the production company Creative Eye, where he currently holds the positions of chairman and managing director.
- At the ceremony held at the ISKCON temple in Navi Mumbai, he shared his profound spiritual feelings, mentioning that he arrived with humility and regarded God as the ultimate distinguished guest.
