Hanuman Ansh OTT Release: After Its ₹342 Crore Box Office Run, Devotional Film Based on the Life of Neem Karoli Baba to Arrive on SonyLIV
The devotional film earned Rs 452.86 crore worldwide, and Sony Pictures Networks India has acquired its streaming and broadcast rights.
On Friday, Director Vishal Chaturvedi announced that Hanuman Ansh will stream on SonyLIV from November 27, bringing the devotional drama based on Neem Karoli Baba to digital audiences.
Made on a budget of ₹2 crore, the film earned over ₹342 crore net in India and remained in theaters for over 80 days, crossing ₹300 crore by the eighth week.
Despite this success, internal disagreements persist regarding rights and decision-making power between Vishal and producers Namrata Singh, Ragini, and Anupriya Nagar, with reports suggesting friction has left the franchise in jeopardy.
Swambhu Media Network Pvt. Ltd. issued a statement clarifying that no individual holds sole authority to deal with the film's rights, asserting all agreements must follow established inter-se processes.
Plans for a second installment remain uncertain, as Anupriya previously described the film as a trilogy, but the sequel has not been formally announced.
After achieving a remarkable theatrical run, Hanuman Ansh is set to release on OTT. Its release date and OTT platform have been announced, and you'll soon be able to watch it back in your homes.
