Americus City Council honors retired teachers, Sister City, and honorary Council Member

The Americus City Council meeting met October 23. Mayor Lee Kinnamon invited Dr. Oneida Wade Ingram to serve as honorary Council Member for the month of October. Kinnamon honored her by reading a proclamation. Konu-Miyoshi, the Sister City of Americus in Japan, was also honored, with Kinnamon presenting a proclamation to the mayor of Konu-Miyoshi.
