Amateur baseball: Paynesville moves on at state with a walk-off win

GAYLORD — The Paynesville Pirates made their first appearance in the state tournament since 2021 a memorable one. Paynesville beat the Lamberton Long Sox 6-5 in the first round of the 102nd annual Minnesota Baseball Association state tournament Friday night.
