Chesterfield Football Club are delighted to announce the permanent signing of defender Alfie Pond from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a contract until summer 2028. Pond began his youth career at Exeter City and made his first-team debut in the EFL Trophy in a 1–1 draw with Chelsea U21 at St James Park. The central defender signed for Wolves in 2022.
