- The 32-year-old missed four races after experiencing vertigo symptoms during the March 1 race at Circuit of The Americas, forcing absences at Phoenix Raceway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Darlington Raceway, and Martinsville Speedway.
- To earn clearance, Bowman turned laps Tuesday at the Ten Tenths Motor Club in a street car, then completed pit stop practice, simulator testing, and a medical evaluation on Wednesday before formal approval.
- HMS president Jeff Andrews praised Bowman's diligence and recovery effort. "I feel really good, and I'm excited about being at the track," Bowman said, confirming he is 100% ready to return.
- With 20 races remaining in the regular season, Bowman faces a significant challenge to qualify for the playoffs, currently trailing the top 16 drivers by 144 points after his early-season absence.
