Aggravate electric bikes disorder in the city, says Prevents AC

Mexico City faces a serious problem caused not only by the excessive growth of the vehicle fleet of motorcycles, but also by the so-called “electric bikes”, which are more suited to the characteristics of a motorized vehicle by the dimensions and speed they reach, since they can exceed 25 kilometers per hour, said Iraís Maya, coordinator of projects of Mexico Prevent AC.

The PAN Member at the Congress of Mexico City, Olivia Garza, presented an initiative to regulate the circulation of mototaxis. At the rostrum, the legislator expressed the need to create a regulatory framework to regulate this mode of transport, since in the last four years, the number of units circulating in the City had an increase of 50 percent, without sticking to any rules.
