Shingles vaccine available for eligible residents
The shingles vaccine is now available for individuals aged 65 and over and immunocompromised residents between the ages of 50 and 64. Availability will be expanded to individuals over age 50 on September 1. Eligible individuals can contact their local pharmacy or physician to confirm participation in the provincial vaccination program and for vaccine availability. The vaccine is available free of charge.
