Acadia Parish inmate uses jail phone to allegedly violate protective order 65 times

CROWLEY, La. (KLFY) -- An inmate in the Acadia Parish jail has continued to break the law, even behind bars, authorities said. Steven Cormier, 44, of Rayne is charged with 65 counts of violation of a protective order. The charge stems from Cormier using the inmate paid phone system to make contact with the victim, officials said.
