Haim Roter, a well-known Haredi activist from Bnei Brak, was arrested at Ben Gurion Airport after returning from Poland and his detention was extended by nine days. The suspicion against him includes indecent acts and exploitation of power relationships towards minors and adults over the years. "A horrific mask of abuse of great power that the suspect had," said a police representative.
A senior member of the "Guardians" organization was arrested upon landing at Ben Gurion Airport and brought to court for an extension of his detention. During the hearing, a complainant broke down in tears, shouting that he had been raped and severely injured. The police estimate that this is a large-scale case with additional witnesses who have not yet testified.
