It’s tragic and shameful that Charlie Kirk was assassinated for expressing his political views. It’s equally tragic and shameful that Minnesota state representative Melissa Hortman, her husband, and their dog were killed by a man who had earlier that day shot state senator John Hoffman and his wife, and who was found with a “hit list” of almost 70 Democratic legislators and abortion rights supporters.
