Federal Judge Releases Alleged Jeffrey Epstein Suicide Note
The note surfaced after Epstein’s former cellmate discussed it publicly, and prosecutors said that disclosure waived secrecy claims.
A federal judge in White Plains, New York, unsealed an alleged suicide note written by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on Wednesday, relating to criminal proceedings involving his former cellmate.
Nicholas Tartaglione discovered the note tucked inside a book after convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein had an unsuccessful suicide attempt in July 2019.
According to a Bureau of Prisons incident report, Epstein was found in his cell on July 23, 2019, "with a homemade noose fashioned around his neck."
Judge Kenneth Karas allowed public access to the evidence this week, though Epstein died in jail in August 2019 before standing trial for sex trafficking minors.
BSTTrump claimed Epstein's "victims or whatever" do not want to testify under oath, a statement emerging as the public examines evidence surrounding the high-profile death.
