A major renovation will soon begin at Tampere Railway Station – this is what the new travel terminal will look like

The Tampere railway station area will change significantly by 2030. The work, costing just over 200 million euros, is scheduled to begin this spring.

Due to the renovation of the passenger railway yard, the station tunnel will be closed for the entire duration of the project and the Itsenäisyydenkatu underpass will be closed for the summer. Demolition of the Erkkilä bridge will begin in April.
