The ministry said the strikes were carried out in five locations in the regions of Tire and Nabatia in the south of the country and the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon, The Times of Israel reports. It was not specified how many of the victims and wounded were soldiers and how many were civilians. According to reports, the strikes were carried out after a Hezbollah drone attack on Israeli troops operating in the security zone of southern Lebanon.
In a new field development, the Israeli army announced the interception of a drone, which he said had been pushed towards his forces in what he described as the security zone in southern Lebanon, while at the same time declaring air strikes on southern areas in response, amid information about a large number of wounded and displaced from Nabatiyah towards Saida.
