A Hampden road will close next month for bridge repairs

Sawyer Road in Hampden will be closed starting in mid-August for bridge repairs. The work on the Sawyer Road Bridge will begin around Aug. 18, according to Hampden Public Safety. Crews will be repairing the structure and its wing walls.
