The country's and Europe's largest electricity company, Iberdrola, acknowledged on Wednesday that it has suffered a cyberattack that has exposed the data —name, surname and DNI number— of 654,000 customers. The unauthorized intrusion occurred between May 5 and 7, when the company handed the matter over to the Spanish Data Protection Agency and the Forces and Security Bodies of the State.
