Six local women will be honored Saturday evening as part of a fundraiser for A Woman’s Place, the only domestic violence shelter in Weld County. A Woman’s Place was founded in 1977 as a crisis hotline by a group of county residents who recognized the need for assistance for domestic violence victims.
