WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — 5 people and a dog had to be rescued after two boats capsized in Masonboro Inlet Saturday afternoon. According to Wrightsville Beach Ocean Rescue Director Sam Proffitt, a small boat capsized just after 4 pm, due to large swells in the inlet. 2 people and a dog were thrown overboard.
