- On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, Jacob Cowing suffered a hamstring injury, Shanahan said, pulling it in warmups during practice in Santa Clara.
- With the wide receiver corps already thin, Brandon Aiyuk continues rehabbing ACL and MCL injuries from October 2024, Ricky Pearsall is on the PUP list, and Jauan Jennings, amid contract talks, caught three passes.
