- Jofra Archer has appeared in 13 Test matches representing England, securing 42 wickets, which include three instances of taking five wickets in an innings. His most recent Test was against India in Ahmedabad in February 2021, where he took four wickets.
- Following their five-wicket victory in the first Test, Ben Stokes has made no other changes to England’s squad except the addition of Jofra Archer, who is expected to come into the starting lineup as a replacement for Brydon Carse in the upcoming five-match series.
