4 N.J. counties placed under a coastal flood advisory until Wednesday afternoon

The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday valid from 8 p.m. until Wednesday 3 p.m. for Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean and Burlington counties.“Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways,” says the weather service. “Additional flooding may continue Wednesday night into Thursday.”
