The Santa Barbara Yacht Club is about to kick off the J/70 U.S. National Championship which will run Friday through Sunday. The J/70 is one of the world’s most popular one-design sports boats. This year’s national championship has attracted 38 boats, coming from as far as New York and nine from here in Santa Barbara.
