Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz of the SPD and Union Chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz are now meeting the chancellor candidates Alice Weidel of the AfD and Robert Habeck of the Greens in a direct exchange of hits on television. RTL is thus moving away from the original plan of a TV duel between Merz and Scholz and expanding the round.
