SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) -- The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced this week that two Salinas gang members have pled guilty to racketeering conspiracy. The DOJ says that the defendants, Gil Vasquez, aka “Rhino,” and Jose Mexicano, aka “Armani,” admitted to violent assaults as well as drug and firearms trafficking.
