Two pedestrians were killed Wednesday afternoon in downtown Olympia, according to police.About 5 p.m., a car and truck crashed in the area of Fifth Avenue and Simmons Street near Capitol Lake. As a result of the collision, the truck careened onto the sidewalk and killed two adult women walking, Olympia police Lt. Paul Lower told The Olympian.
