2,800-member expansion approved for University of Michigan Faculty Senate

Summary by Ground News
The Board of Regents unanimously approved the expansion in its July 20 meeting. The expansion would add clinical professors, archivists, curators and certain lecturers. The move was to fold in unrepresented faculty members that deserve a seat at the table. The current Faculty Senate includes about 4,300 tenured and tenure-track faculty.
