UPDATE: Argument leads to shooting on Kirby Avenue, Chattanooga police say

Police say the victim is a 19-year-old man whose injuries are not life-threatening.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- A 19 year old male was shot Wednesday afternoon in Chattanooga. Chattanooga Police say the shooting occurred around 12:45 p.m. in the 2300 block of Kirby Avenue. They believe a verbal dispute occurred prior to the shooting. The victim transported himself to the hospital where he was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
