18 Terrorists Killed in Balochistan IBO: ISPR
Pakistan security forces killed 18 terrorists linked to Indian proxy Fitna al Hindustan during intelligence-based operations under Azm-e-Istehkam campaign, officials said.
- Inter-Services Public Relations reported eighteen terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al-Hindustan were killed in two intelligence-based operations in Quetta and Kech districts, Balochistan.
- Since the Taliban took power in 2021, Pakistan has said that cross-border clashes on October 12 prompted retaliations that killed over 200 Taliban fighters and affiliated militants, as part of the Azm-e-Istehkam campaign.
- In one operation, security forces busted a hideout in Buleda, Kech District, neutralized four terrorists, recovered weapons, ammunition and explosives, and sanitisation teams are ongoing.
- President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid rich tribute to security forces, and officials said efforts will continue to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism.
- After a temporary ceasefire on October 17, Pakistan carried out strikes inside Afghanistan, including in Kabul, and talks hosted by Turkiye beginning October 25 ended inconclusively, Pakistani authorities said.
