Paris. Paris hosted yesterday the traditional July 14 military parade on the Champs-Elysées, staging armed forces “ready for combat” the day after President Emmanuel Macron announced a significant increase in defence spending.
On July 14, France celebrated its National Day. On the morning of that day, the annual military parade was held on the Champs-Elysees in Paris, with an unprecedented scale. In the evening of that day, a grand fireworks show and drone performance were held at the Place de Mars in front of the Eiffel Tower, attracting nearly 300,000 spectators to watch.
