According to the police, the arrests in Haifa began after protesters chanted "With blood and fire, we redeemed Gaza." Activists in Tel Aviv said that a passerby punched and injured a protester. Ayla Metzger shouted at the demonstration: "50 kidnapped in Gaza are being desecrated, soldiers continue to be killed and hunger continues to kill Palestinians. It's time to stop."
