North Yorkshire Police are urging members of the public to hand in guns and knives they shouldn't have in an attempt to tackle serious crime. Between May 12 and 29, weapons can be handed in to front counter staff at the following police stations: Harrogate, York, Scarborough, Malton, Skipton, Selby, Northallerton and Richmond.
