Inflation · MoroccoThe High Commissioner for Planning in Morocco said on Thursday that the inflation rate rose 2.9% in January on an annual basis due to higher food prices, which are the main driver of inflation in the Kingdom of Morocco.
In its monthly bulletin, the delegate added that food prices rose 4.2% while the prices of non-food items increased 0.9%. According to the bulletin, inflation increased by 0.3% on a monthly basis in January.
