Immigration and Customs Enforcement · United StatesA gunman opened fire at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Dallas on Wednesday, killing one detainee and critically injuring two others before fatally shooting himself. Authorities identified the shooter as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, who fired from a rooftop at a van outside the ICE field office. Shell casings engraved with “ANTI-ICE” were recovered, suggesting a political motive. ICE confirmed the victims were undocumented migrants, including a Mexican national. No ICE personnel were harmed. Jahn, who briefly attended the University of Texas–Dallas over a decade ago, had a prior 2015 marijuana arrest but no record of violent crime. Officials condemned the attack as “an assault on ICE law enforcement.”See the Story
