On June 27, Zhou Zhifeng, Wang Changdong and Lu Hong, three persons in charge of the Liaoning Dalian "Shanhai Group" which focuses on the elderly care industry, were sentenced to life imprisonment, 16 and 14 years in prison respectively for the crimes of fund-raising fraud and money laundering. The amount involved in the case was 24.419 billion yuan (RMB, the same below).
