<p>Zelensky replaced the interim head of the State Border Service Vadim Chenchyk and was appointed interim head of the State Border Guard Service. Valery Vavrynyuk was released from performing these duties.</p>
Vladimir Zelensky dismissed the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine; instead of Valeria Vavrinyuk, his deputy, Vadim Chenczyk, will serve as interim chairman, following a published decree.
Major General Vadim Chenchyk has been Deputy Head of the State Border Service since 2019
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Valeriy Vavrynyuk from the duties of the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine. Deputy Head of Service Vadim Chenchyk was appointed as the new interim head of the State Fiscal Service.
The new head has been in the position of deputy since the fall of 2019.
